I’m going to Punta Cana

Punta Cana Trip Planning
Trip Planning Punta Cana

I’m going to Punta Cana and can’t wait!

My travel plans for November were all over the map thanks to storms throughout most of the Caribbean. If you’ve been reading my travel blog, you know November is my birthday month and as such is one of my favorite times to travel. Unfortunately, it’s one of the wettest months for many tropical destinations. After putting off so many trips, I’m now thrilled to get my feet on the sandy beaches of Punta Cana. I’m praying for sunshine!

Not only is this trip much needed, it’s well deserved! I’ve been extremely busy with the launch of another business venture, dealing with a host of personal issues, and kicking butt with a personal trainer. My neck and back feel like I sprung a leak. I just can’t wait to stop and chill.

My friend convinced me to stay at The Reserve at Paradisus in Punta Cana. It looks like a fabulous resort. The only reservation I had was it being a Melia property. I gave up on Melia after disappointing times with their chain in the Bahamas.

Here’s what I’m planning to do and see for my upcoming trip to Punta Cana:

Yhi Spa

This tranquil spa boasts the ability to take care of the body and soul. I’m looking forward to a much needed excursion through serenity as my body can certainly use some taking care of.

Bavaro Beach

Declared as one of the best beaches in the world with crystal clear waters, I’m stoked to dip in this beach. It sounds exactly like my cup of sea tea.

Limon Waterfall

I haven’t chased waterfalls in a long time and look forward to finding myself again in this tropical rainforest. I just hope my research about accessing this location via horseback is wrong. After having endless pain from riding horses in Jamaica and falling off a horse before that, I really don’t want to go horseback riding! I’ll keep you posted.

The last thing on my to do list is…

Colombia!!!

My Colombian beau surprised me with the news that he’ll be meeting me in Punta Cana! This will be a welcomed reunion and I can’t wait for our salsa dance off amongst other things!

What are your favorite things to do in Punta Cana? Let me know so I can check it out too!!!
