Recently, I had a chance to stay at Hotel Spiwak while in Cali on my Colombian vacation. I loved the hotel! It was centrally located adjacent to Chipichape Mall and utterly luxurious in the room decor, amenities, and service. My luxury suite was the size of a New York City apartment. The separate/private bedroom facing the mountain was a plus. The room included a dining area, office/workstation, TVs in each room, oversized luxury bathroom, spacious kitchenette, and living room. The chocolate wood floors throughout were lovely. I felt right at home. The comfortable bed made being far from home an afterthought.
Hotel Spiwak is an upscale resort, and while breakfast isn’t included in the price tag, plenty of options exist to purchase on or offsite. Chipichape Mall is affixed to the hotel, and the restaurants and stores have great deals.
There’s a casino attached to the mall (won 300,000 pesos, sounds like a fortune), a movie theater, small carnival rides, numerous bars, and several decent restaurants inside the food court. The hotel and mall are both immaculate and safe. Also, the staff was pleasant, professional, and multilingual.
