Hilton Garden Inn Bali Ngurah Rai Airport – Hotel Review

Hilton Garden Inn Bali Ngurah Rai Airport exceeded expectations

My international flight into Bali landed in the middle of the night. It was hot and humid. My private villa at the W unavailable for early check-in (shame on them). So, I used Hilton Honors points to stay at Hilton Garden Inn Bali free!

Initially, a bit skeptical to stay here because reviews were hit or miss. Doesn’t matter how many photos or reviews you read, you’ll never know if accommodations will satisfy your taste until arrival.

Thankfully, Hilton Garden Inn Bali was comfortable and pretty exceptional for this hotel category.

The location perfectly nestled near Ngurah Rai Airport. Given my flight arrived in the middle of the night, the free shuttle service had ended. However, taxis are readily available and inexpensive.

The deets

Hotel staff pleasant and welcoming. Thought it was odd having to scan my luggage and purse through an X-ray machine before entry. Turns out, this is common in Indonesia but it was a first for me checking in to a hotel.

Even in darkness, you see the grounds were clean, well-kept. Beautiful trees and flowers abound.

Check-in was seamless and quick. They awaited my arrival and had everything ready to go. I was upstairs and in the shower in a flash. Speaking of the shower, the bathroom is pretty elegant for a Garden Inn. It’s spacious, full of essentials, and high quality products. I’m always checking for water pressure. I hate bathing in low pressure or dealing with toilets that barely flush. It’s so common traveling around the world that I relish in joy when the pressure and temperature is adequate. Makes me feel at home away from home.

The room is cozy and comfortable!

The bed was the best. My head hit the pillow and we became one, quickly.

The sound proof room kept the atmosphere quiet and calm. There were no disturbances during my nap. When I woke up and looked outside, there was a beautiful view of the swimming pool.

Went downstairs for breakfast and to check out facilities. The open-air dining area fully staffed and offered a broad selection of food. Vegetarian and vegan friendly too.

Also, there’s a 24/7 market for late night needs.

The gym has enough machines and weights to stay fit while traveling.

Overall, extremely pleased with the Hilton Garden Inn Bali at Ngurah Rai Airport. I’d stay here again. Plus, staying here for free on Hilton Honors points makes this an even sweeter deal. Perfect for those late night arrivals and early departures.
